The iconic Bill and Ted are back with “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” the new movie set to film in New Orleans this summer. The announcement was released via a video announcement from the Hollywood Bowl.
According to i09websire, the third film in the franchise, created by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon will follow “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” released in 1989, and the sequel, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” from 1991.
In this new adventure, a press release said, the stakes are higher than ever for Bill and Ted. The now middle-aged best friends embark on a new adventure when a time traveler from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. The two, having yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, get help from their families, old friends, and music legends.
The comedy is set to be released in theaters August 2020.
