Between your office parties and family get-togethers, you should find some time to spend with your fellow citizens at these shows. Everyone is getting in the holiday spirit and giving what they’ve got to others.

On Thursday, Demo Diva is hosting her 5th Annual Christmas Caroling in Lakeview at 6246 Memphis Street. Everyone, including furry friends, is invited to participate in old fashioned caroling, hot chocolate, and experience the petting zoo. Siberia has a benefit for the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines with a huge lineup of live music featuring Dummy Dumpster, Gristnam, Ossacrux, The Unnaturals, The Cons and Prose, and many more. There will also be burlesque numbers, raffles, and a silent auction. The fun begins at 7 p.m. and the suggested donation at the door is $10. 100% of the door and raffle sales will go to Gawad Kalinga, a Philippine-based poverty alleviation organization.

Slow Burn Burlesque presents Hell for the Holidays at the Howlin’ Wolf on Friday night. Join Ruby Rage, Ginger Licious, Roxie le Rouge, The Lady Satine, and more for a scorching hot holiday massacre at 11 p.m .for $15. Our Saints play an important, playoff-clinching game on Sunday, and our opponent is the Panthers for the second time this month. You can celebrate another Panther loss at Siberia’s garage/punk rock show with Dikes of Holland, Bipolaroid, Die Rotzz, and a special appearance by the not-to-be-missed Imagine the Band. If you are in a giving mood yourself, Southport Hall is holding their 8th Annual Children’s Hospital Toy Drive Concert at 6 p.m. Live music will be provided by House of Goats, Jeff Starship, Painted Hands, and more. The Louisiana Modified Dolls, The Crescent City Derby Devils, and Santa himself will be making appearances. The donated toys must be new and unwrapped. There are teenage patients that are in need as well.
