Are you looking for Labor Day weekend plans? Do you have a love for both basking on the beach and live country music from top artists? Then head down to the fifth annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, a three-day country music festival scheduled for September 1 thru 3.

The festival is located in Panama City Beach, Florida, which is about a five-hour drive east of New Orleans. Panama City Beach is a resort city on the Gulf of Mexico that is known across the country for its long, white-sand beaches and amusement parks.

This is a perfect opportunity for a weekend getaway! A full day would allow you to soak up the sun and enjoy the beach during the day and enjoy your favorite country tunes and artists by night.

This year’s lineup (similar to years past) is stacked with about 20 artists. The festival will start off on Friday with headliners Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, and Tyler Farr. Saturday night, performers such as Little Big Town, Kip Moore, and Dan + Shay will take the stage, and Sunday will close out with Luke Bryan, Granger Smith, and Brett Eldredge. “And guess what, it’s going to be wild, it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be a beach. What else do you need?” said Eldredge.

Make sure you check out the entire lineup online.

As years and festivals pass, the Gulf Coast Jam continues to gain recognition and popularity with an average of a 27 percent participant increase each year. The fest draws in crowds of about 15,000 people. Country music lovers venture to PCB from all 50 U.S. states and even from 14 international countries.

Rendy Lovelady, a festival organizer and New Orleans native, said festivalgoers who venture down from New Orleans to PBC are vital to the festival’s ongoing success, and she looks forward to NOLA natives’ continued support this year.

“Without our fans, we would be nothing,” festival organizers posted on their website. “Our five-year celebration is in honor of every single one of our fans, whether a veteran fan or a first-time fan. We strive to do our best in bringing you the biggest names in country music.”

Organizers have made things easy for those heading down. For example, there will be a shuttle system providing a free, safe way to travel to and from the festival grounds. Around 12 p.m. each day, the shuttle will begin traveling from several locations to Frank Brown Park, where festival gates will open at 2 p.m. The shuttle will continue to run throughout the night until the festival ends and until all are returned safely home or to their hotels/resorts. VIP ticket holders will have priority as they board and exit the shuttle to and from the show.
