Breakout New Orleans-based band Tank and the Bangas performed their new single, “Nice Things” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” yesterday. The song is from the band’s new album, Green Balloon, which will be released on May 3rd. The album’s lively fusion of funk, soul, and hip-hop has been praised by Time and NPR Music. Since 2017, the band has achieved major success after winning NPR’s Tiny Desk contest with their single, “Quick”. The band is set to go on a North American tour in support of the album beginning on April 15. The performances will stop at Jazzfest, Boston Calling, Firefly Music Festival, and more.
