Taking Back Sunday at the Civic

The last time I saw Taking Back Sunday was back in 2004. Needless to say a lot has changed since the release of their first two albums.  The crowds have gotten bigger and the production has gotten even more elaborate. One thing that has remained constant is the passion the band has for their craft. Wednesday nights tour kick off at the Civic was a combination of all their albums as well as the debut of a couple of new tracks. I still find the live material somewhat weaker than their recorded stuff, but chalk it up to the genre itself.  One can't deny the passion the band has and the audience always seems to be even more energetic.
