About 20 minutes outside of New Orleans, you'll find nearly three miles of road-course at North America's largest completely lit karting facility. This racetrack, NOLA Motorsports Park, located at 11075 Nicolle Blvd. in Avondale, La., is the premier place in the Greater New Orleans area for go-karters and cyclists alike to ride around unencumbered by traffic and other hazards. Throughout the summer, NOLA Motorsports Park will be offering special Bike Nights that give cyclists of all ages and skill levels a chance to enjoy the track.

NOLA Motorsports Park's first Bike Night is Wednesday, July 28, followed by three more Wednesdays: August 18, September 8, and September 29. Each evening will last from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will even feature free food and bottled water with water stations set up on the track for refills. Beer as well as other non-alcoholic beverages besides water aren't included in ticket costs to the event, so bring some cash or a card to get yourself something else to drink.

Tickets to each Bike Night are $10 in advance for adults, $5 for children in advance or on-site, and $12 for adults on-site. Tickets can be purchased online up until 11:59 p.m. the night before the event.

Riders participating in a Bike Night are required to sign a waiver and those under 18 are required to wear a helmet on the track.
