This year's annual Stake Out for Justice fundraising event will return for its Patron Party on September 28, 2023, followed up by the Stake Out for Justice Luncheon on October 4, 2023.
The Patron Party will be hosted at a beautiful Uptown home, more information will be provided to those who purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased on the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation's website for $250. Tickets are in limited quantity and will sell out, so do not wait to purchase!
The Stake Out for Justice Luncheon will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel this year. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and tickets can be purchased online for $150 per ticket.
The aim of Stake Out for Justice is to honor those brave members of the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) and to raise awareness for the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation (NOPJF). NOPJF has fought for more than 28 years to ensure the safety of the public by funding some of the needs of the NOPD.
Sponsorship opportunities can also be found on the NOPJF website. These opportunities start at $500 and include increased benefits at each level. Sponsors will receive affiliation with well-respected New Orleans organizations that also value the safety of our city.
Now more than ever it is imperative that we have organizations like NOPJF in our city. With sky-high crime rates and an overwhelmed police force, NOPJF has provided a plethora of programs that have helped NOPD and made the city of New Orleans a safer place.
Some of the programs implemented by NOPJF include but are not limited to, the "Back the Badge" recruitment campaign which led to over 45,000 applications to the NOPD since 2013, safer body armor for officers, community events to foster community amongst officers, advanced training for NOPD members, tuition assistance for officers and civilians within NOPD, and much more life-changing help.
