St. Patrick's Day Celebrations Are More Fun in New Orleans

Now that Mardi Gras has passed, the next big holiday to celebrate is St. Patrick's Day. At least $6.16 billion is expected to be spent for the holiday this year, which New Orleans will be contributing to. However, New Orleans is not considered to be one of the top 20 "Best Cities for St. Patrick's Day Celebrations." This is absurd, considering how much fun Mardi Gras is each year.

Obviously, New Orleans does something right in terms of celebrations, so why did the city not appear on WalletHub's report of "2020's Best Cities for St. Patrick's Day Celebrations"? WalletHub, a personal-finance website determined the best cities for celebrating the Irish-American heritage holiday by comparing 200 of the United States' largest cities across 17 metrics.

These metrics included Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, lowest price for a three-star hotel on the holiday, as well as weather forecast, and more. The cities chosen were as follows:

New Orleans is one of the best places to celebrate anything and everything in America, so why isn't it ranked higher? This ranking is absolutely ridiculous, and this St. Patrick's Day, New Orleans is sure to prove these sites like WalletHub wrong.
