Beam Suntory and some of America's top bartenders are collaborating to create a series of musical playlists called 6ourbon 7ime (stylized off of Bourbon Time). The playlists will be available on Spotify throughout 2021 and are paired with the bartenders' favorite cocktails, as well as the recipes used to make them.

Due to the pandemic, a lot of people have transitioned from working in an office to working online from home. This has created a blurred line between work life and everyday life, making it harder for people to reclaim that personal happy hour after a long day of work. 6ourbon 7ime is aimed at giving people the opportunity to be able to enjoy themselves and to reclaim 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. as the happiest hour of the day.

In February, bartenders Erick Castro and Josh Davis were featured with their playlists and cocktails. All playlists are posted on the 6ourbon 7ime's Spotify account. Keyatta Mincey Parker's playlist will be the featured on March 8th, followed by Chelsea Gregoire on March 22nd. New playlists have been scheduled up until the end of September. From country to rap, there's plenty of music and drinks to explore till the end of the year.

Beam Suntory is a world leader in premium spirits, but it's dedicated to more than just delivering high quality liquor. It has a mission of growing human connections and entrepreneurial spirit. Beam Suntory is sponsoring this event to try and connect people during the pandemic. For each follow the Spotify playlists receive, Beam Suntory will donate $1 to the Restaurant Workers' Community Foundation. The playlists are aimed to spark conversations and personal interests among users who are trying to find a new way to relax at home.
