NOLA Zombie Walk - NOLA Zombie Walk

The power is back on for the most part, and it's not as extremely hot as it has been, so it's time to get out and enjoy the many fun things happening this week; many of which are free movies.

For every Wednesday in September, Siberia is having Biker Movie Night. This week's selection is Hell's Angels on Wheels. The movie begins at 8 p.m. and there is no cover. After the flick, head to Circle to see the hometown folk/rock/world favorites the Zydepunks open up for Outernational at 10 p.m.

Friday, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, often described as a gothic country band, headlines a show with locals My Graveyard Jaw and Kiyoko McCree at Hi Ho Lounge at 10 p.m. for $8.

Saturday, the Krewe of the Living Dead Social Aid and Pleasure Club is putting on another zombie walk this time to celebrate the release of Resident Evil: Retribution at 7 p.m. The walk goes from Tracey's on Magazine Street to The Rendezvous Tavern and ends at Balcony Bar. The first 50 participants will receive movie merch and there will be a costume contest with prizes awarded. After that walk, clean off the blood and get into your 1990s best for Siberia's 90s dance party BUGG'N. Clueless will be on the screen and the best 90s tunes will be playing for your dancing enjoyment. It's free and the movie starts at 10 p.m. Or if you couldn't catch the Zydepunks earlier in the week, there are playing at Maison on Frenchmen Street at 11 p.m. free of charge. They did say that this may be their last show due to so many time conflicts with all of the band members. If you've ever wanted to see them, now is the time. A less European/more American style of music is going on at Chickie Wah Wah on Canal Street at 10 p.m. for $10. 504 What Style presents the rockabilly bands The Bedlamville Triflers and The Pests.

There are even more movies at Siberia on Sunday night; their weekly free double-feature. This week get ready to fight your way through The Warriors and Escape from New York. At 9 p.m.
