This year, for the mere price of $100 one may purchase a raffle ticket that will grant access to a truckload of New Orleans Sports tickers. The package of the lucky winner will include home games for the Pelicans, Saints, The College Football National Championship Game, and several others at the professional level.
According to their site the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation (Sports Foundation) was organized in August 1988 and is a non-profit 501(c) (4) organization whose mission is to attract and manage sporting events that have a positive economic impact on Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans area.
"By the end of 2024, the Sports Foundation's work will have generated more than $3.4 billion in economic impact for our city and state," said GNOSF President and CEO Jay Cicero of the organization "The Premier Season Ticket raffle was created as an annual initiative to support our ongoing work in bringing these major sporting events to the State of Louisiana."
The proceeds will help maintain New Orleans as a hub of premier athletics and in buying one of 1500 tickets you will be helping that cause. And come on, a Saints game for 25 cents? Who can beat that?
