Tour St. Lucia with Chef Nina Compton

Rêverie, which is a chef-led, global travel company co-founded by James Beard Award-winning writer and chef Lisa Donovan and esteemed pastry chef Julie Belcher, has announced its lineup of retreats in 2024. Rêverie aims to curate unmatched experiences to desired locations through the lens of cuisine.

The new lineup features a week-long trip to St. Lucia, which will be led by James Beard Award-winning chef Nina Compton. Chef Compton is a native of St. Lucia and is excited to showcase the history and techniques of the island's food. Guests will accompany Chef Compton on a deep exploration of local markets and recipes, as well as a holistic experience of the island through wellness practices, yoga, sulfur springs, and time on the beach.

The retreat will take place from July 21-27, 2024, for a total of seven days and six nights. The starting price is $6,500, which includes transfers to and from the Hewanorra St. Lucia International Airport, workshops, meals, rum and beverages, hired transportation to scheduled events, scheduled outings, and villa lodgings. Guests will be housed at the gorgeous luxury resort Cosmos, which directly overlooks a protected heritage site, as well as the Piton Mountains of St. Lucia.

Guests will also get the opportunity to participate in many different workshops. The first one is all about Green Fig and Salt Fish, which is St. Lucia's national dish, and will go into depth about the heritage and influence of the dish. There will also be a cocoa-themed dinner, which will highlight everything that is possible with a cocoa bean.
