Pirate Weekend at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival in Hammond was arrrrrmazing! Between all of the shanty singing and swashbuckling under the overcast skies, the throng of revelers were treated to a bevy of entertainment. The Washing Well Wenches were back to their old tricks of finding men with beer, Judas and Magnolia did death-defying stunts, and the Queen of the Village of Albright paraded around the grounds with her court in tow.
New amusements this year included an escape room attraction and an arena to sword fight your friends. But this coming weekend is your last chance to get in on the fun. December 10th and 11th are the final days of the fest this year. The best part about visiting this weekend are the deep discounts from some vendors and fireworks when the sun goes down.
