Formed in 1995, Puscifer is Maynard James Keenan's existential side project he works on when he's not involved with Tool or A Perfect Circle. If ever the was a definition of "concept" band, Puscifer would be at the top of the list. With each new album, comes a complete and different stage concept.
This latest tout, Existential Reckoning Tour 2.0 - Let the Probing Continue, takes on a futuristic X-Files type of mood. Existential Reckoning is the bands latest release and the set was made up mostly of that material. The show is a performance piece with Acts and an Intermission that had several funny infomercial type of ads to distinguish the parts. The first ad was one for SPAM that threaten to make SPAM of anyone who dared take photos of the performance. Much like the Tool sets, the band gave the audience a photo op at the end of the set.
