"Outside The Tent" Art Exhibit Features Works from Jazz Fest's 2019 Crafts and Folklife Participants

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Jazz and Heritage Festival, the opening night of the “Outside the Tent” reception will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will feature the work of several of the Craft and Folklife participants from the upcoming Jazz and Heritage Festival and will continue until May 3 at the Jazz and Heritage Gallery on Rampart St.

The event is open to the public and is expected to be a festive time. Congo Square African Marketplace, Contemporary Crafts, Louisiana Marketplace, Folklife Village, and Native American Village will be part of the Crafts and Folklife exhibits.
