A group of New Orleans activists are starting a petition to bring back the option of nude bathing at popular spot in the bywater, The Country Club. WGNO reports this petition would turnback the policy enacted last fall that banned nudity after complaints and sexual assualt allegations.
The group is organizing a petition and utilizing social media to see if the public agrees that clothing optional policy should be brought back. The hashtag #nudenotlewd has been used on Twitter and Instagram.
