According to a report from WalletHub, New Orleans ranks in the top 20 best cities to celebrate the 4th of July. Specifically, New Orleans ranked #11 overall in the study. To determine the best cities, WalletHub compared the 100 largest cities in the U.S. and based them on how well each city balances holiday cost and fun including key factors from average beer and wine prices, duration of fireworks shows and weather forecasts. New Orleans ranked just ahead of cities such as Scottsdale, Milwaukee, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
