NOLA Horror Fest 2019

Jump into the Halloween 2019 spirit with the 9th Annual NOLA Horror Film Fest at the Prytania Theater (5339 Prytania St., New Orleans, LA 70115) from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29. In addition to screening feature length horror movies, there will also be collections of horror shorts, a screenplay competition and live music.


Here is a listing of the feature films scheduled to screen. Remember, the schedule is always subject to change.


The Black String - A lonely slacker starts to have nightmarish visions after he meets a mysterious woman. Frankie Muniz stars. Thursday, September 26 @ 9pm.

My Soul to Keep - A 9-year-old boy believes that something horrific lives inhis basement. Friday, September 27 @ 7:30pm.

Finale - Two young women working the night shift at an in-the middle-of-nowhere gas station discover that they are being watched. Friday, September 27 @ 10pm.

To Your Last Death - In order to save her siblings, a young woman makes a deal with the powerful entity known as Gamemaster to go back in time. The voice talent in this animated feature includes Morena Baccarin, William Shatner, Ray Wise and Bill Moseley. Saturday, September 28 @ 2pm.

Swing Low - When a nature photographer explains to the Police how she was forced to fight her way out of a valley chock-full of sadistic locals, they dismiss her crazed and violent story as a meth-induced nightmare. Is it too late when they discover that she's telling the truth? Saturday, September 28 @ 7pm.

Cold Feet - A fight for sanity and survival at a bachelor party begins when it's discovered that there are snipers outside the rented house and a ghost inside. Saturday, September 28 @ 9:30pm.

Making Monsters - A celebrity couple known for their YouTube scare-prank channel is invited to a weekend getaway in the countryside. Terror ensues. Sunday, September 29 @ 2:30pm.


Every Time I Die - A murdered man finds himself inhabiting his friend's body, and must stop the killer from murdering him again. Sunday, September 29 @ 8pm.
