Giving back is always a great "sense" of the due dilligence for those in need. The Fashion Awards Gala presented by New Orleans Fashion Week has partnered with Launch Louisiana to support the Coats for Cajuns initiative running November 1-14, 2016 with a special final drop off at the Gala on November 18, 2016.

Coats for Cajuns is an initiative that will help outfit individuals affected by the recent flooding in Southeastern Louisiana. Supporters can donate new and gently used coats and jackets at designated drop off locations.

“It’s always really important to New Orleans Fashion Week that we incorporate community outreach into our events.” Founder Tracee Dundas explains, “so when the opportunity presented itself to work with Coats for Cajuns we thought it was a perfect fit and a fashionable way to give back to those in need.”

Coats for Cajuns proudly partners with Tracee Dundas of New Orleans Fashion Week, Shanna Forestall of Louisiana Film Resources, the Cajun Relief Foundation and the Salon by Instyle at JCPenney.

In addition to the Fashion Awards Gala, drop off locations are conveniently located in cities all around Louisiana. Donors can also mail in donation or make a monetary donation at coatsforcajuns.com.
