Lakeside
Shopping Center is
the primary shopping location for the city of New Orleans. Folks of all ages,
from all across the Gulf Coast enjoy the variety of stores, family events, and
dining options it has to offer. Lakeside is also widely known for its local
feel with food favorites like Café Du Monde,
Chez Pierre, and Raising Cane's.
The newest addition to their dining
menu is no different: a wine bar and café brought to you by New Orleans's own
Creole Cuisine. Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts is the culinary establishment
behind many popular local spots such as Flamingo-A-Go-Go, Broussard's
Restaurant & Courtyard,
as well as Gumbo Ya-Ya.
The new restaurant will be located across from the Apple Store, providing small
bites, cocktails, and a tempting wine menu; A perfect place to relax after a
day of shopping or meeting up with friends for happy hour. It is expected to
open in the fall of 2021 and will be the second Creole Cuisine restaurant in
Lakeside, following their Italian eatery which opened last year, a
Tavola. Continuing
to implement the personal touch of New Orleans style in Lakeside Shopping
Center is what sets it apart from other locations of social gathering. It is
also what makes it a cultural hub, as well as an economic one.
Those involved in the restaurant
business are excited about the revitalization this could bring to both
establishments after the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic. "Opening
a new concept at Lakeside Shopping Center is very exciting," Marv Ammari, CEO
of Creole Cuisine, said. "It's a positive sign of regrowth following a very
challenging year." Now that many are finally ready to return to social
gatherings, it is the perfect time to provide an additional site for people to
eat, drink, and relax.
