New Orleans To Honor Orlando Victims With Benefit Concert on June 24

To benefit the victims of the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, musicians and performers from all around New Orleans will come together on June 24 for a city-wide event.

According to bestofneworleans.com, the event will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at The Sugar Mill. The event will star music from groups such as the Stooges Brass Band, OTRA, Khris Royal, and Mia Borders, among others.

In addition, the event will host a myriad of food trucks, and a blood drive to support the New Orleans blood banks. Tonya Boyd-Cannon of The Voice will also be there to sing. All proceeds will go towards the OneOrlando Fund, for the families and victims of the shooting.  An entrance donation of $5 is suggested.
