New Orleans Named Best Food City In The South by Southern Living

In a result that should come as no surprise to most New Orleanians, the city was recently named the South’s Best Food City by Southern Living Magazine. While other southern cities like Austin, San Antonio, and Atlanta are quickly becoming hotspots for foodies, New Orleans’s 300 year history of legendary culinary achievement from chefs such as Austin Leslie, Tory McPhail and Leah Chase, along with new restaurants like Turkey and the Wolf and Saffron made the Crescent City an obvious choice as the best food city in the South.
