1. Benjamin Booker successfully combines blues with folk to create an indie rock sound. You can hear Benjamin Booker on Spotify, at Bonnaroo this year, or see him perform April 24th and 25th at One Eyed Jack’s as he closes his worldwide tour.

2. The Junior League blends an old-timey rock sound with a new indie powerpop sound.  Their last album was released in November 2014, which introduced the world to what the sound of The Junior League was. We can't wait to hear some new music soon from them!

3. Native America describes themselves as bedroom folk mixed with shoegaze.  Their indie sound and lead singers mellow vocals mix and eminate a satisfyingly catchy tune. See them perform at the Treefort Music Fest this March, or check them out on spotify or soundcloud.

4. Brass Bed creates a mellow indie rock sound that can satisfy just about any musical craving.  Hear their vintage 60s rock roots sound this year at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, April 24-May 3.

5.  Royal Teeth have the royal touch when it comes to music. You might recognize them as the musical guests that performed on American Idol, an experience that has prompted the band to release new music very soon. Royal Teeth will be performing in New Orleans April 24, at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

6. G-Eazy, a Loyola University in New Orleans alumn, brings together a mesh of hip-hop and rap to create catchy songs.  Whether you’re into more chill hip-hop hits or hardcore jam-out rap hits G-Eazy covers it all. G-Eazy is currently on a worldwide tour, but we can expect him to perform in NOLA in the near future.
