With Mardi Gras, our fantastic nightlife, and some of the best festivals around, The Big Easy is home to some of the best parties in the world!
According to a study by 888poker, New Orleans is ranked the 2nd best party city on Earth with a party score of 6.12 out of 10. The 888poker's research delved into a number of different factors to determine this score, including number of budget hotels, nightlife venues, casinos, and more.
The study found that New Orleans has 4.38 budget hotels, 1.29 casinos, and a whooping 66.42 nightlife venues per 100,000 people, making NOLA the city with most venues per 100,000 in the entire world. With how famous and well travel Bourbon Street is just by itself, that comes as no surprise!
In fact, New Orleans's party score trounces some of the most famous global/alpha cities on the planet, such as Los Angeles, Paris, London, Tokyo, and more. The only city to top the Crescent City's party score is Las Vegas, which, obviously, has the highest number of casinos per 100,000 people in the world.
