Local filmmakers Jonathan Isaac Jackson and Philip Williamson Jr. have written and directed the short film Greenlight, which will be showcased in PBS’s popular Online Film Festival.  The story revolves around a conversation between an actor and his agent about the lack of diversity in Hollywood and show business.  Local musician Dominic Minix provides the soundtrack for the film, offering a motivating ambiance as the two characters discuss the problems and prejudices in the film industry.  Greenlight was originally selected at the New Orleans Film Festival in October 2015, and will now be screened for an even larger audience come July 11.  The PBS Online Film Festival spans over three weeks, starting on July 11 and ending on July 29, presenting a total of 25 films that will be judged based on votes by the online audience.
