The Greetings Tour, an artist couple that has been traveling the country in their RV painting interactive postcard style murals over the last four years, will be finishing their 35th piece “Greetings from NOLA” this week.
The larger-than-life spray paint mural will be located on Magazine St and Josephine St in the Lower Garden District. With past cities including Chicago and San Diego, past murals have become local landmarks, considered the most photographed walls in those cities.
Victor Ving and Lisa Beggs of the Greetings Tour are collaborating with local artist and business Mystic Blue Signs and La Belle Nouvelle and aim to be complete by March 6 in coordination with Mardi Gras.
The Greeting Tour’s goal is to complete pieces in all 50 states, bringing people together and creating true pieces of public art across America. For more on the NOLA mural, click here.
