As of November 5, 2018, no one has laid claim to the Louisiana Lottery Lotto jackpot prize from the June 6, 2018 drawing. The winning ticket with all six matching numbers, 03-07-30-31-35-38, expires on December 3rd at 5 p.m. and was bought at Metairie's International Market on Barrone Street. The winning ticket holder has until then to validate their ticket at the Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge.
Lottery President, Rose Hudson, advises the mystery winner that “it is also a good idea to sign the back of the ticket for security purposes.” For draw- style Lottery games, winners have 180 days from the time of the drawing to claim their prize if not, the funds are deposited into the unclaimed prize fund. These unclaimed prizes allow for increased payoffs for scratch-off games and other player promotions.
“We look forward to the winner coming forward to claim this prize. In the meantime, the individual should treat the ticket as cash,” Hudson adds. Those interested in pursuing the next jackpot prize for themselves should consider ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages responsible play and urges anyone or friends of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help. The Louisiana Lottery also provides a list of large unclaimed prizes set to expire within 90 days that can be found on their website at www.louisianalottery.com/unclaimed-prizes.
