Recently, armed robberies occured at three Uptown businesses and put the whole area on alert. The latest one happend Monday night at Monkey Hill bar on Magazine Street. At the bar, three masked men robbed the register and held five patrons at gun point.
The other bars that were robbed are Patois and Atchafalaya.
Luckily, no one was hurt at all three bars.
Crimestoppers officials announced on Sept. 29, that a $30,000 reward is being offered to help solve the armed robberies.
