According to a 4WWL online article, students of the School of Medicine at Tulane University have united to hunt down and collect supplies necessary to healthcare workers helping with the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to over $60,000 in donations from Tulane alumni, which will go towards feeding and providing childcare for these medical workers, the students have also managed to round up almost 7,000 masks, 2,500 boxes of plastic gloves, nearly 5,000 protective outfits, and close to 3,000 respirator masks. And they're not stopping there. To help them increase their collection of donations, call the hotline (504-988-3000) or send an email to TulanePPE@gmail.com.
