This week is not only Valentine’s Day, but it’s the beginning of the parades. I'll personally be traveling to the Beau Rivage Casino and Hotel in Mississippi to attend the release of Crooked Letter Brewing Co.'s three new beers brewed exclusively for the casino. I'll let you know just how fun it was!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is hosting Bass + Booze at The Rusty Nail on Thursday beginning at 4 p.m. Along with their great selection of libations and free entry, there will be food, prizes, and entertainment by Johnny Riot. The bar’s weekly trivia begins at 8 p.m.

Krewe du Vieux and its affiliated follower krewe delusion will walk and roll on Friday night at 6 p.m. starting in the Marigny/Bywater, marching through the Quarter down Royal Street to Conti, and heading back to Frenchmen Street via Decatur. Rev. Spooky LeStrange and her Billion Dollar Baby Dolls are rehasing some of America’s favorite television programs for their Boob Tube Burlesque Show at Siberia on Wednesday at 7 p.m. You’ll see the lovely women take off their Gilligan’s Island, Brady Bunch, and more costumes. There will also be sideshows, raffles, and stapling people all for free!
