The National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane's announces the exciting entertainment lineup for this year's event. The performers include: Mannie Fresh, Amanda Shaw, Flow Tribe, Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs, DJ Stormy, DJ Legatron and many more. The National Fried Chicken Festival is set to take place on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, September 23, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Woldenberg Riverfront Park. The National Fried Chicken Fest boasts three live musical entertainment stages: the Main Stage, the DJ stage, and the Sizzle Shack stage. Other entertainers on the lineup include Big Easy Brawlers, Pine Leaf Boys, Papo y Son Mandao, DJ Lil Jodeci and DJ Raj Smoove.
The Sizzle Shack stage, open both days of the festival, highlights local cooking demonstrations and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra.
Former Big Easy Award winner for Best Female Entertainer Amanda Shaw will headline the main stage Saturday night along with Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs who is considered the definition of New Orleans.
Local New Orleans favorite funk rock band, Flow Tribe, will take the main stage on Sunday night along with Grammy-nominated producer and rapper, Mannie Fresh, headlining and closing out the festival.
The National Fried Chicken Festival is a free outdoor festival in New Orleans that brings the community together to celebrate and indulge in one of America's favorite dishes. There will also be a variety of experiences for all ages including a kids pavilion featuring a family lounge, the GoNOLA Mist and Chill Lounge, the return of the Moët Chicken and Champagne VIP Lounge and the Crown Royalty Lounge will make its debut.
