Jeremie Moran was arrested Thursday, February 21®® on charges of resisting an officer, unauthorized entry, possession of methamphetamine, and wearing a mask after breaking into a home while wearing a gorilla suit, according to the Sulphur Police Department.
After receiving various calls about a suspicious person lurking and peering into homes, officers found Moran hiding under a mattress in one of the burgled homes. Wearing a mask in public outside of religious reasons or on holidays like Mardi Gras and Halloween is forbidden under Louisiana law and added to Moran’s laundry list of charges.
