Lynard Skynyrd just announced that they will return to the Crescent City one last time to perform for generations of fans.  The concert is part of the second year of their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, which also includes stops in Canada, the UK, and Europe.  These giants of Southern Rock continue to prove that they are as dedicated to their fans as their fans are to them, having stacked up over 50 performances in the first year of their long goodbye.  With more than 60 albums to their name, they certainly have produced a large enough legacy to carry them through another year of delivering chart-topping music to the masses.  The title of the tour comes from their fifth studio album, Street Survivors, the multi-Platinum blockbuster featuring the Platinum-certified hit single “What’s Your Name.”  Of course, everyone knows this iconic band’s name—which is only one reason why Rolling Stone listed Lynard Skynyrd as one of the 100 Greatest Bands of All Time.

Don’t miss your last chance to witness a live performance of hits like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” and “Simple Man” by these legends, who will be at the Smoothie King Center on May 17, 2019.

Tickets go on sale on February 8 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com.
