LSU’s 2019 Football Schedule Has Been Finalized

The SEC finalized their conference schedule for next season, and with that LSU’s 2019 schedule is complete. Many Tiger fans anxiously wait for this moment, the moment they find out whom exactly their beloved team will face next season.

LSU will open the 2019 season on August 31 against Georgia Southern at Tiger Stadium. Then they will make a road trip to Austin, Texas to take on the Longhorns. The Longhorns will travel to Death Valley in 2020. 

Following the Texas matchup, the Tigers will face head coach Ed Orgeron’s alma mater Northwestern State at home. They will then travel to Vanderbilt to face the Commodores. This will be their first conference matchup of the season. The Tigers will then host Utah State on October 5. 

The Tigers will then welcome Florida to Death Valley the following weekend. The Tigers will then be put to the test as they face a strong end to their schedule as they face a plethora of strong SEC opponents.

The Tigers begin their SEC stint with three road games and only one home game in a four-week period. The Tigers will to Mississippi State (Oct. 19) before coming back to the bayou to face Auburn (Oct. 26).  The Tigers are off on November 2, giving them a well deserved and needed break before two tough road games. Traveling to Tuscaloosa on November 9 and Oxford on November 16. These two road games against Alabama and Ole Miss will be a tough test of the Tigers stamina. 

LSU will end its’ season with back-to-back home games against Arkansas (Nov. 23) and finally Texas A&M (Nov. 30).
