A recent survey by Bare Necessities ranks Louisiana as one of the highest in body confidence in the country, especially if you’re an older man in the state.
Bare Necessities polled 2,800 men and women to rate their body esteem on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest). Louisianans scored an average of 6.3 with men surpassing women in body security, scoring 6.9 compared to women’s 5.8.
People over the age of 65 proved to be the most confident in their physicality, which gives us all a good reason to embrace aging!
The average American scored 6.1 with a gender breakdown of men at 6.4 and women at 5.7, proving that us ladies need to work on loving what we got. Maine ranked the highest in body love with a whopping 7.5, while Michigan, the lowest state, barely made it past the halfway mark with a 5.1.
