Louisiana Ranks Worst In Eco-Friendliness

According to Wallet Hub, out of all 50 states Louisiana is the most unfriendly state to the environment. Wallet Hub based their report on such factors as carbon footprints per capita, municipal solid waste, and quality of air, water and soil. After giving each category a score and totaling up the numbers Louisiana ranked 47th in environmental quality, and 50th in eco-friendly behaviors. The report also noted that Louisiana ranks last when measuring the amount of municipal solid waste recycled, which helped to knock the eco-friendly behaviors score down significantly.
