Light Years Away, A Molecule was Found that May Explain Earth’s Mysterious Origins

Scientists have recently found evidence of a chiral molecule – a molecule with two mirroring images, like a pair of hands – 28,000 light-years away in a gas cloud.  The chiral molecule has two forms – often referred to as the right hand and left hand – that both have the same chemical formula.  Experts believe this symmetrical molecule may hold the key to the mystery of life on earth.  Chiral molecules are used nowadays to make polyethylene plastic products, but scientists could now use this new discovery to find out more about earth’s origins.  Experts are currently in the process of seeing if the interstellar molecule is evolving in the same manner as it does on earth.
