WDSU Parade Tracker

The WDSU Parade Tracker is one of the easiest ways to keep up with Krewe of BOO! in real time. WDSU's free app tracks the front and back of the parade so you know exactly when it's starting and ending by you. It also includes parade schedules, route maps, push notifications, and weather updates. The app is available for iPhone and Android.

WWL Parade Tracker

Another option is the WWL Parade Tracker, updated for the 2026 parade season. The free app lets users view parade schedules and routes and save the parades they don't want to miss. The tracker works on both Apple and Android devices. For parade attendees, the app makes it easier to track where the procession is and check route information as they move around the city.

Parade Pal

You can also use Parade Pal, an app that tracks all kinds of New Orleans parades. It provides real-time GPS tracking of parades, including those held on Halloween, with interactive route maps, weather information, and warnings about delays or route changes. The app also shows where restrooms are located along the parade routes, which can be useful when celebrating for an extended period. Parade Pal is free, available on both Apple and Android devices.

The 2026 Krewe of BOO! Parade Route

The Krewe of BOO! this year will start on Elysian Fields Avenue and then head towards North Peters Street, Decatur Street, pass by Jackson Square, then toward Canal Street. It will go up Canal Street, Burgundy Street, and Tchoupitoulas Street until it reaches Andrew Higgins Drive in the Warehouse District.

The Krewe of BOO! is New Orleans' official Halloween parade and includes over 1,000 participants, including marching bands, dance groups, and walking krewes. The Halloween-themed floats display a variety of things, including werewolves, ghosts, vampires, and other monsters, and the riders throw candy, toys, beads, and Halloween-related items into the crowd. The event is free and family-friendly, and costumes are encouraged.

The celebration doesn't have to conclude with the last float; the Krewe of BOO!'s annual Monster Mash party after the parade starts at 8 p.m. at Generations Hall, which is situated at 310 Andrew Higgins Blvd. The event includes a DJ, live music, costume competitions, and drinks.
