And the 2019 parade theme for Krewe of Bacchus is . . . “Starring Louisiana”! Paying homage to movies and TV shows filmed in Louisiana, the theme ties in with Krewe of Bacchus’s tradition of featuring a celebrity as King of Bacchus to lead the parade. Previous kings include Will Ferrell, Dennis Quaid, and Bob Hope.
With more than 1,400 members and 33 animated “super-floats,” including the signature Bacchagator, Bacchasauras, and Bacchawhoppa, the Krewe of Bacchus will be sure to deliver on its 51st year of wowing and entertaining.
