Bring your best seersucker or 1930’s garb and win that prize for the “best dressed” contest. Or if you think you resemble the big Governor himself go for the look-a-like prize and win a complimentary meal from Kingfish Kitchen once a month for a full year!
The festivities will also feature a special appearance by local actor and radio personality Spud McConnell. McConnell will kick off this party NOLA-style with a second-line parade lead by a classic jazz trio.
The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. at Kingfish Kitchen and Cocktails located at 337 Charters St. Second line parade begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by the look-a-like and costume contest at 6:00 p.m.
