Around the Chateau Country Club's huge, serene pool, the Kenner Food & Wine Event returned for its 12th glorious year of food, fun, and, obviously, wine under the moonlight. While local restaurants including Vincent's, Drago's, La Tia, and more vied for the People's Choice Best Dish, wines from all over the world tempted and treated the attendees. Wine was the main focus of the night, but Bourbon Alley was not vacant. These sips paired well with the stogies at the Cigar Lounge. Those looking for something sweeter enjoyed the desserts provided by the longstanding local bakeries Gambino's and Tastee Donuts (serving McKenzie's treats).
