Back Street Bar and Grill is hosting Major Bacon - a Grammy-nominated blues rock trio with a sound so exhilarating you'd think there were three times the members. Guitarist Dave Renson gave the band its mouth-watering name, after finding a desk placard with his maternal grandfather's name and rank from World War I. Renson is joined by Eloise Davis on bass and vocals and Bill Hjortsberg on the drums. The band performs original music and covers great blues classics such as "Goin' Down" by Freddie King. Join Major Bacon at Back Street Bar for funky drum beats and sizzling guitar solos; if you get there early enough, you'll get a free BLT sandwich as well.
