One year ago, JAMNOLA opened in the Bywater neighborhood. Many people weren't sure if the immersive art experience would work out in a COVID world, but thanks to masking and a reservation system that allowed small groups to go through without running into each other, JAMNOLA thrived in 2020 and beyond.

To celebrate a full year of letting guests experience art and culture happening all around them, JAMNOLA held a star-studded party complete with ladies from The Baby Dolls, complimentary adult beverages, and 360 degree videos. Artists Julianne Lagniappe (Feather Forest), Josh Hailey (What's Your JAM? Floor Mural, and Cherice Harrison-Nelson (part of All On A Mardi Gras Day) were in house to explain their works and the significance they play in the culture of New Orleans. As patrons and marching krewes including The Muffalettas whirled through the many captivating rooms, they found their way to the closing party. The event culminated in a glorious party around the corner at the Press Street Station with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and The Golden Eagles.
