This electronic-folk group had very humble beginnings in Gainesville, Florida, before touring and signing to Skrillex’s record label. While the collaboration may seem unorthodox, it gave them the exposure they needed to really take off. They are known for their auspicious combination of folk and choral vocal melodies with feathery acoustics and thick electronic production. The group is raved about and loved by the college community for their inventive production techniques. Hundred Waters has already perfected a niche where acoustic folk and throbbing electronics can exist together beautifully, and this is with only two albums under their belt.
