As we pass Thanksgiving, enter Hanukkah, and head for Christmas, things are only heating up. Wednesday is Ladies Night: Angel Olsen headlines at Circle Bar on Wednesday night, and Meschiya Lake, Debbie Davis, Lynn Drury, and Alexandra Scott play at Siberia at 9 p.m. for $7.

Thursday is full of holiday-themed fun and adventure. Barcadia celebrates beauty with Martinis and Manicures from 4-8 p.m. For $10, you get a martini made with Smirnoff Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit, Lemon, or Raspberry Pomegranate and a professional manicure by Earthsavers. Men can get a complimentary suit fitting by Louis Falcone and cigars by Cigar Factory with some Johnnie Walker Black. Rifftrax is back at Elmwood with their holiday special Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. The master comedians behind Mystery Science Theater are broadcasting live their brand of humorous commentary over this B-movie. Tickets are available here for $15. Oak Bar on Oak Street is hosting a Holiday Wine Tasting for any and all winos. For $40, you will taste a sommelier-picked variety of vino along with small plates. Proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Friday, Red Fang headlines a show at Siberia with The Shrine and Indian Handcrafts at 10 p.m. for $13.

Sunday’s Saints game has moved from noon to 7:30 p.m., and vocalist Terry McDermott will sing the National Anthem there just before heading to House of Blues to perform at 9 p.m. I personally love found footage; video segments usually from past decades on VHS tape. And Everything is Terrible at Siberia will have hours of strange videos for your pleasure, shock, and confusion beginning at 7 p.m. for $10. The game will be playing on their other televisions.

Punk doesn’t take a day off! The Pallbearers and The Split Lips perform on Monday night at Checkpoint Charlie’s at 9 p.m. for free. And Siberia’s weekly burlesque and comedy show Bits and Jiggles begins at 9 p.m. and is free.
