Hogs for the Cause is excited to announce its 11th Annual charity barbeque cook-off and music festival is set for March 29 & 30, 2019 at the UNO Lakefront Arena Festival Grounds. In celebration of the sold-out 2018 event where an astounding $1.45 Million was raised, Hogs organizers are releasing a very limited number of $30 2-Day General Admission tickets. “We’re thrilled to get started on what will be the biggest Hogs yet!” says Rene Louapre, COO & Co-Founder of Hogs for the Cause. "In order to reward our most loyal Hogs fans, we are releasing a very limited amount of 2-Day tickets at a price even lower than last year's 1-Day price of $35!"

The musical lineup for 2019 is being finalized. Top acts in previous years have included N.M.O. (North Mississippi Osborne), Turnpike Troubadours, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Railroad Earth, Shovels & Rope and Drive-By Truckers. Nearly 100 bands have played the stage at Hogs for the Cause over its 10-year history. “While food has always been the focus of Hogs, we are just as passionate about the musical aspect,” states  Becker Hall, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Hogs. “We believe we have created something that offers a taste for everyone—food, music, camaraderie, volunteerism—each one contributes to the overall success of Hogs for the Cause each year.”

Limited pre-sale tickets for Hogs for the Cause will be available August 22, 2018. In addition, this year a 2-day pass preloaded with $45 worth of Hoggy Dollars will be offered for $75. Also, the RFID wristbands introduced last year can now be shipped to patrons prior to the event.

Hogs for the Cause 2019 sponsors include Children's Hospital, Bud Light, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Urban South, Parish Brewing Co., and Port Orleans Brewing Co.
