NOLA's Largest Women's Pride Event
Popular queer and lesbian pop-up bar GrrlSpot will host its annual women's Pride event this summer.
GrrlSpot is the sole lesbian and queer pop-up bar in New Orleans. Once the sun sets after the annual New Orleans Pride parade, the GrrlSpot after-party will begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 and continue until 1 a.m. the next morning. It will be hosted at the Toulouse Theater on 615 Toulouse St.

Event Details
The annual Pride celebration highlights local talent and creates a welcoming environment for queer women. Local women DJs, other performers, and photographers will be featured. This includes live burlesque shows from local performers and colorful projected visuals on the main stage.
From disco and house music to hip-hop sets, guests can expect an unforgettable night celebrating queer women and Pride in New Orleans. Attendees can also look forward to special surprises during the evening as the celebration continues into the early morning hours.
The attire is whatever makes you feel comfortable and glamorous in NOLA's humidity. Tickets are available for purchase online. This is an 18+ venue, and you will need a valid ID to enter. Tickets are selling fast at a limited capacity, with previous years selling out quickly.

GrrlSpot first started after the devastating Hurricane Katrina as a gathering for returning queer women to connect. Since 2005, it has grown into a twice-a-month meet-up bar and social hub that continues to foster community for queer women in New Orleans.
GrrlSpot invites all women to celebrate and bring friends for a night of community, dancing, and pride.
