It was a wet and wild weekend in New Orleans, yet Galaxy Con brought out the true fans of the best in sci-fi, anime, wrestling, and comedy films. You could peruse comics and collectibles while taking in all of the wonderful homemade costumes. Some brave souls even got fresh, permanent ink to show their dedication to their fandom. Others spent time gaming whether on tables, computers, or arcade style The panels were also packed. I enjoyed the Evilution of The Addams Family: from a single panel comic to big screen saga that has endured several decades. Many local groups and krewes were on-hand to recruit for their mischievous missions. The Vampire Council of New Orleans would love to have both the living and the undead sign up for their next nighttime jaunt in the Krewe of Chewbacchus.
