This Friday, July 6, French Truck Coffee’s craft caffeination extended to Biloxi, Mississippi, with the opening of Jacked Up Speciality Coffee Bar, which will be serving its coffee.
In the less-than-10 years since owner Geoffrey Meeker dreamt of small-batch, freshly roasted coffee, French Truck has opened three locations in New Orleans, one in Baton Rouge, and another in Memphis—and now its beans and influence continue to Mississippi.
"It's true barista coffee, so it's stronger than most," Dixie Newman, owner of Jacked Up, told the Sun Herald. "And it's good.''
French Truck and Jacked Up align with the trend of local businesses gaining momentum as consumers opt for higher-quality products in response to the norm of mediocre mass production.
