On February 4, French Quarter Festivals Inc. announced the music lineup for this year's French Quarter Festival presented by Chevron. The 37th Anniversary French Quarter Festival will take place from April 16 through 19 in the historic French Quarter. From Thursday to Sunday, festival-goers are invited to enjoy over 300 acts across 25 different stages.
The lineup features legends like Little Freddie King and newcomers such as Loose Cattle and Ricki Lee Jones. Returning artists include fan favorites Tank and the Bangas, Amanda Shaw, Bill Summers & Jazalsa, and hundreds more.
Kick-off the weekend by enjoying musicians such as Lost Bayou Ramblers, Preservation Brass, and The Blues Masters featuring "Big Al" Carson on Thursday, April 16. Come back Friday to experience the New Orleans Cottonmouth Kings, Original Hurricane Brass Band, Valerie Sassyfras, and the Waylon Thibodeaux Band. Saturday's setlist includes Big 6 Brass Band, The New Orleans Catahoulas, Steamboat Willie, and The Smoking Time Jazz Club among many others. Closeout the weekend with Don Vappie & the Creole Jazz Serenaders, Flow Tribe, Jumbo Shrimp Jazz Band, New Orleans Swamp Donkeys, and more.
